This is no shelter. This is no roadside diversion. This is Best Friends, the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals. Nestled in between the sprawling red rocks of Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Parks, lengthen your leash and experience for yourself the nature and nurture of this lifesaving haven for hundreds of adoptable animals.

Grand Sanctuary Tours

These two-hour tours begin at the Best Friends Welcome Center every day of the week. You’ll watch a brief video and then board a van to visit the cats and dogs and see other Sanctuary sites. Please register in advance online or by phone.

8:30 a.m., 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m.

Accommodating up to six guests and three pets
