Porcupine Rim Trail
The Porcupine Rim trail is one of the most popular backcountry trails in Moab and also one of the hardest. The ride is best done as a point-to-point, starting at Sand Flats Road which will help minimize the climbing and maximize the downhill. Enjoy 360 degree views of red rock, the Colorado River and the La Sal range as you wind along the cliff’s edge. The trail offers both singletrack and doubletrack, and has countless features to make it a lot of fun. The downhill is exhilarating with a ton of bumps and edges to navigate. This is for expert riders. Most people use a shuttle service or drop a car off at each point.
