This Salt Lake City neighborhood is home to many eccentric shops and restaurants, and has resisted the "big box" trend, although it does offer one large shopping center. The heart of the neighborhood is in the area of 1100 East and 2100 South; retail establishments can be found along major streets radiating in all directions from that point.
The area offers clothing stores, specialty boutiques, coffee houses, juice bars, restaurants, theaters, and a wide variety of other types of businesses.
