Rockin' R Ranch Guides
Saddle up for a cowboy adventure of a lifetime.
Escape to a Real Old West working cattle ranch near Bryce Canyon with horseback riding, haywagon rides, cattle drives, exotic mountain trail rides, archery and other activities. You might want to sit on a broad stone and dabble your feet in the cool waters of a nearby river—or maybe you’d rather breathlessly clutch the side of your tube as you’re carried downstream by torrents of mountain waters.
Want a ride? You might want to settle on a freshly baled bundle of hay for a wagon tour of Antimony, relax on the bench of an authentic stagecoach, or feel the breeze in your hair as your steed gallops in our riding arena as you try your hand at barrel racing. Looking for a quiet retreat? Try reeling in a catch or two at nearby still, pooled waters—or curl up in a quiet corner of the lodge and immerse yourself in your favorite book.
Beginners can enjoy a leisurely stroll around the grounds of the Ranch–and riders with more experience will have opportunities for different guided rides in the surrounding meadows, foothills and mountains.
Now it’s your turn to try cowboy roping and feel the rough hemp against your palm as you swing the rope and snag your first “calf” head.
You can learn how to barrel race, pole bend, and enjoy some other fun Cowboy Games such as sheep dressing, calf chase, and water relay.
