You might be asking yourself, what the heck is Ragnar? Well, if you're a runner (all levels welcome), hear me roar. Ragnar is an overnight relay race that tests your limits in a team sport. Depending on your race, you and a team of runners will run a series of miles, camp overnight, and when you're not running, you'll be busy cheering your teammates and enjoying the Ragnar Village atmosphere.
Ragnar Trail Zion, UT
SPEND A WEEKEND WITH FRIENDS: This relay is run by teams of 8 friends or 4 Ultra friends. Each teammate runs three trail loops, relay style, starting Friday, May 13 and finishing Saturday, May 14 — a NEW, later race date.
RAGNAR VILLAGE: YOUR NEW, BETTER HOME. Tents lined with goodies, a non-stop schedule of activities, endless s’mores by campfire light, perfect stargazing and a team campsite to settle in for the weekend. This is summer camp for grown-ups.
THE TRAILS. Beautifully groomed single-track twists through ponderosa pines, along red dirt ridgelines with views of Zion National Park and quiet starlit skies, miles away from your usual weekend routine.
SHOW YOURSELF YOU CAN. Run 15 miles, day and night, climbing more than 1000-ft. total. Because you are hardcore. (Or you will be afterward.)
Conquer a 200-mile race. When you have a team of 12 or 6 friends to share the mileage and cheer you on, almost anything is possible.
Gear up in lights and head out for a 2 a.m. run under the stars. To complete the course from Logan to Midway, you’ll be running night and day.
Soak in sun and enjoy beautiful backroads and mountain paths you’ve never explored. Come back year after year and run every leg of the course.
Wear a neon body suit and a tutu while running the streets of Park City. There’s a good chance someone is wearing something crazier than you.
Deck out your team vans in lights, paint, props, you name it. Whatever it takes to make living out a van for 2-days enjoyable…
Celebrate your accomplishment with a high quality medal and shirt at the giant finish line party at Soldier’s Hollow. Free food, craft beer (for runners 21 and older) and entertainment.
Ragnar has reduced the race cap by 2,000+ runners for a better race day experience.
