For many anglers, Lake Powell offers their first taste of the excitement and challenge of saltwater style fly-fishing. This vast reservoir can be intimidating to newcomers, but that’s where Ambassador Guides comes in!

Under the guidance of Capt. Bill McBurney, you'll learn the ins and outs of successfully fly-fishing Lake Powell. We follow the natural cycles of bait movement, target fish staging on points and structures, and chase thrilling topwater boils; all while watching for bird activity to locate the best action.

Unlike fishing spots where fish are dormant or chum fed, we seek out hard-hitting, aggressive fish; comparable to the strike of a snook! If necessary, we’ll scout the best waters 30+ miles out to find areas where baitfish hold year-round.
