Destination Resorts

Starvation State Park and Reservoir
This state park is one of the greatest jewels in Duchesne County. The reservoir is one of the premier boating, fishing and water sports destinations in the state of Utah. On busy holiday weekends, there can be over 8,000 people all enjoying the fun and exciting activities happening. Starvation State Park now boasts one of the nicest beaches in Utah with improved camping and primitive camping.

The Roosevelt Golf Course
This golf course is often rated in the top 10 courses in Utah by professional golfers. There are 18 unique and challenging holes which include red rock, high Uinta vistas, desert formations including cliffs and water features, and some amazing views.

High Uintas Wilderness
These beautiful High Uintas are world famous for its Highline hiking trail and fishing on one of up to 400 lakes. It's also home to Kings Peak which is the highest mountain in Utah. The High Uinta's is the largest area of wilderness in Utah.

Community Events
Community events really define Duchesne County. These events bring residents, former residents and thousands of other future fans of Duchesne County together. Some of these events are the Myton Daze, Tabiona Rodeo, Roosevelt Red Mud Run, Neola 4th of July Celebration, Uintah Basin Car Show, Altamont Longhorn Days, Holly Fair, Duchesne County Fair and Uinta Basin in Celebration.

Centennial Event Center
Duchesne County is always bringing new events and activities to the area to help new and returning visitors enjoy the county. The Centennial Event Center is an amazing new facility that includes over 5,000 square feet of meeting rooms and a world-class arena for other events.
