Summer Activities

Park City Mountain Resort just keeps going year 'round with great activities for everyone. On the mountain, you’ll find incredible hikes, great nature walks, a complete range of mountain bike trails, the Alpine Slide and more. In town, you’ll find unique shops, restaurants, galleries and theaters, plus you can ride the town lift right from Main Street to the top of the mountain.

If it's speed you like, try the Alpine Coaster which takes you down a mountain track with over a mile of curves and bends and hills. Of course, the Alpine Slide is still a favorite with four tracks that wind and twist down over 3,000 feet. Both of these rides put you in control of the speed you want to go and believe me, you can really go if you want too.

There are a few more ways to see the mountains here at Park City Mountain Resort. Try the ZipRider, a zip line that soars 100 feet in the air over the tops of trees at speeds up to 45 miles per hour. Or, you might enjoy a nice scenic ride up the mountain on a chair lift. There are different options here as well, you can choose to ride the lift up and back down the mountain or you can get off on top and hike down one of the many trails. Another great way down the mountain is on a mountain bike. There are over 30 miles of trails to choose from. Try John's Trail, Trestle Trail, Loose Moose or Gotcha Cut Off to name a few. There are many other great activities that the whole family can enjoy, miniature golf, the Human Maze, and trampolines with safety harnesses so you can practice the tricks you plan to do on ski's this coming winter. And don't forget, you've got to take a horseback ride in the mountains!
