Deer Valley Resort (Summer)
The Deer Valley Resort mountains have become a favorite for outdoor enthusiasts. Deer Valley Resort's summer operation is open daily, beginning June 14 through September 2, 2013. Lift-served mountain biking/hiking and scenic rides are offered from the Silver Lake Express chairlift at Snow Park Lodge, the Sterling Express chairlift mid-mountain and the Ruby Express chairlift at Empire Canyon. For your convenience, we recommend starting your day from Snow Park, which offers ample parking. Bike rentals and lessons are available from all locations. You have the option of starting at the bottom of the mountains and working your way up and back down or you can enjoy a ride up the mountain on chairlifts and then select trails to take you back down. Either way, you will enjoy the cool summer air and the beautiful mountain scenery. There are easy to difficult trails for those beginning and those who really know what they are doing. We know there is a trail just perfect for you. (See our trail guide and trail map.)
Deer Valley Resort's Summer Adventure Camp offers creative and challenging activities for children 1 to 12 years of age. This state-licensed, children's center offers craft projects, games, climbing wall and many other activities to keep children involved while you experience other Deer Valley Resort activities.
Dining is definitely a reason to come to Deer Valley Resort. Deer Valley Resort's chefs know how to blend fine food and the outdoors together. Their award winning cuisine adds a little extra to every activity you engage in, whether it's a gourmet picnic basket while attending an outdoor concert or a patio lunch at Royal Street Cafe or the newest dining addition Deer Valley® Grocery Cafe.
Deer Valley Resort's outdoor amphitheater hosts multiple musical events during the summer season. World-renowned artists, headlining musicians and local bands regularly take to the stage during Utah Symphony | Utah Opera's Deer Valley® Music Festival, the Park City Performing Arts Foundation's St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights series and the Grand Valley Bank Free Community Concert series.
