Deer Valley Resort - Summer Activities
Deer Valley Resort is filled with nonstop activity such as lift-served mountain biking, hiking and scenic chairlift rides, Summer Adventure Camp for children and music-filled evenings at our Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. Enjoy award-winning cuisine served on the outdoor decks of Royal Street Café and Deer Valley Grocery-Cafe or a Gourmet Picnic Basket or Bag during one of our many evening concerts. Deer Valley® proudly brings the same commitment to customer service for our summer activities, as we do during our winter season, featuring an all-inclusive operation with mountain bike rentals, instruction and guided biking and hiking tours.Deer Valley Resort is open daily June 19, through Labor Day; September 1, 2015, then weekends only through September 20, 2015, weather and conditions permitting. Lift-served mountain biking, hiking and scenic rides are offered from the Silver Lake Express chairlift located at Snow Park Lodge, Sterling Express chairlift mid-mountain and Ruby Express at Empire Canyon. For your convenience, we recommend starting your day at Snow Park Lodge, which offers ample parking. Bike rentals, lessons and guided tours are available from all locations.
Deer Valley Resort's Summer Adventure Camp offers creative and challenging activities for children two months to 12 years of age. Our state-licensed children’s center offers craft projects, games, a bouldering/rock-climbing wall and many other activities to complement a variety of outdoor activities.
Deer Valley’s Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater hosts many musical events during the summer season. World-renowned artists, headlining musicians and local bands regularly take the stage during Utah Symphony | Utah Opera’s Deer Valley® Music Festival, Park City Institute’s St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights Concert Series and the Grand Valley Bank Community Concert Series presented by Mountain Town Music.
