Public Transportation
Salt Lake City's light rail, an above the ground subway service known as TRAX along with a good number of buses have eased traffic congestion and improved travel between the valley and the downtown area. The TRAX stop every 10 to 30 minutes between 5:30 am and 11:00 pm on weekdays and Saturday, now open until 1:00 am on the weekends. No service on Sundays. There is also free Park and Ride lots at most stations excluding downtown. Utah Transit Authority website.
