Grand Teton Fishing
The rivers, streams and lakes in Grand Teton provide great fishing for cutthroat, brown and lake trout and for whitefish. Fishing is regulated according to Wyoming state laws and a Wyoming fishing license is required. For more information visit the Wyoming Game and Fish website at http://gf.state.wy.us. You can also obtain fishing information at park visitors centers.
Licenses can be purchased at many stores in gateway communities and at general stores inside the Park. Note that fishing in Yellowstone National Park requires a separate permit that can be purchased at Yellowstone visitor centers and ranger stations.
The Snake River and its tributaries flow through this area. The Snake is an important trout fishery and attracts many fly fishermen. Some sections are considered blue-ribbon fisheries.
