Cataract Canyon Oar/Rowing Expedition 5 Day / 4 Night
This trip offers some of the wildest whitewater during the months of May-July. A 120 mile expedition through some of the most exciting whitewater in the country.

| Day 1: Meet your River Guide in Moab |
ACTIVITIES:
- Leave you vehicle in the parking lot and be transported to the river put-in location. Your first day will cover the flat waters of the Colorado River. There will be a few hikes to break up the day, ranging from 5 minutes to half an hour. You’ll visit ancient Anasazi ruins, as well as pictographs over a thousand years in age. Camp is at river’s shore. Visit the library on the river or partake in horseshoes, volleyball or a little backgammon.

| Day 2: In the heart of Canyonlands National Park |
ACTIVITIES:
- Your second day has you within the heart of Canyonlands National Park. Sights of Dead Horse Point and the Indian ruins of Lathrop Canyon will amaze you. You drift all day long, enjoying the sights. There is ample time for off river hiking and points of interest. Your first two days are quiet, floating as you pass through and marvel at the wind-sculptured sandstone cliffs, with their spires and pinnacles, mesas and amphitheaters. Camp on the river bank.

| Day 3: Morning hike, float to river confluence |
ACTIVITIES:

An early morning hike over the loop with boats awaiting you on the other side to float to the Confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers. Below this point awaits the heart of Cataract Canyon! You’ll experience the first few rapids, floating past the Doll House area, where outlaws used to rampage. Camp at river’s shore.

| Day 4: Experience big rapids |
ACTIVITIES:

The rapids of Cataract Canyon await! The remainder of the day will be spend in the Mile Long and Big O Drop series of rapids. Big Drop offers some of the wildest rapid sections in the country. These are just a taste of the day’s adventures.

| Day 5: Arrive at Lake Powell and return home |
ACTIVITIES:

Early morning brings more tales of the preceding day’s events through Cataract. You will motor off Lake Powell with the trip ending at Hite Marina in the early afternoon. Chartered transportation awaits your arrival and you’ll be back in Moab around 3:00-4:00pm. Optional return flight to Moab is an additional $85.00 per person.
