Service: Rafting River - Yampa River | Perhaps one of the greatest values in the rafting industry, a trip with O.A.R.S. on the Yampa is nothing less than spectacular. The only major tributary of the mighty Colorado River that still runs wild and free, for three months a year, the Yampa flows with fresh, surging run-off from miles above - waters originating from the melting snows and glaciers of the world-famous Colorado Rockies. Consistent whitewater carries paddlers through splashed canyons of red, yellow and orange, into Dinosaur National Monument. An awe-inspiring exhibit of paleontology, the monument includes the Dinosaur Quarry Visitor Center, a rock wall containing more than 1500 dinosaur bones. The Yampa is an unforgettable whitewater rafting destination for kids, teens and ever-inquisitive travelers alike.
Included: professional river guides, guided hikes, all meals while on the river and top-notch expedition equipment. |
