River - San Juan River
An enormous natural museum locked within a labyrinth of the nation's most surreal landscape, the San Juan River region is a super-spectacle for lovers of American archeology, geology, botany and history. An exceptionally memorable experience for children and teens, too. Zig-zagging over seven miles, the Goosenecks of the San Juan are a collection of intertwined canyons lined with vivid pictographs, ancient art, cave dwellings and ruins – including the Moki Stairs, carved by the region's Indian tribes over 800 years ago. Many of these sacred sites are visible from your boat, or are an easy, exhilarating hike away. End the day languishing in warm pools, then beach camping under the desert stars.

Included: professional river guides, guided hikes, all meals while on the river and top-notch expedition equipment.
