Westminster’s Diversity and International Center invites the public to join the Westminster community in front of Converse Hall for a program commemorating the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington. Following the program, students will march through Sugar House. The march will begin in front of Converse Hall at 1840 South 1300 East, head south on 1300 East, west on 2100 South to 900 East, then return on 2100 South to Westminster on the Draw, located at 2120 S. 1300 East.
Once at Westminster on the Draw, participants will assemble hygiene kits to be donated to the Crossroads Urban Center. The kits, containing socks, shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste, will go to low-income individuals and families in Salt Lake City.
