Westminster Presents “Renaissance Winds”

Hear 15th Century music performed with a sackbut, bagpipe, slide trumpet, recorder and shawm. The ensemble, Ciaramella, stirs the soul with music for Renaissance wind instruments, performing intricate counterpoint “with the ease of jazz musicians improvising on a theme” (Cleveland Plain Dealer). Ciaramella is performers Adam Gilbert, Rotem Gilbert, Doug Milliken, and Debra Nagy (shawm, recorder, and bagpipe); and Greg Ingles and Erik Schmaltz (slide trumpet and sackbut).

The concert is part of the Westminster Concert Series.
