If you've ever wondered why that mountain is there, what this rock is, or why you should worry about gypsum soils, then you should be sure to come to the Grand Opening of this next Special Exhibit. Sandstone and limestone, volcanoes and lava, earthquakes and floods all add up to a dramatic vista that St. George is lucky enough to live with everyday. But beauty often comes at a price and that, too, is discussed in this new exhibit. There will be a Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony, refreshments, and the public is invited to attend free of charge that evening.
