Wade draws from her 4-year, single-handed circumnavigation of the Atlantic Ocean for her acrylic paintings. Wade's awards include the Juror's Choice and Best of Show awards at the 2003 Summer and Autumn Juried Shows (respectively) at the Falmouth, Cape Cod, Artists' Guild; Best in Show at the Kimball/Park City Art Festival; and featured artist in Art & Soup's March event. Prior to becoming a full-time artist, Wade was an award-winning graphic designer. The exhibit can be experienced on the mezzanine level of the Roy W. and Elizabeth E. Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. The gallery is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for the general public and before and after performances for ticket holders.
