Peery's Egyptian Theater is proud to be an Official Venue for the Sundance Film Festival. Ogden welcomed the festival for the first time in 1998 and locals have flocked to the screenings ever since. Starting with a limited number of screenings, the schedule now includes films during the full 10 day run of the festival - over 14 public screenings, 2 student screenings for local high school students, and two Best of Fest screenings after the close of the festival.
