Nice Place, water is a little high right now

Realist - Salt Lake City, Utah

If you are just going there for an hour then $9 might be a little pricy. Plenty of times I have just wanted to check out a place but wouldn’t want to pay the entrance fee if I was only going to be there for 10 minutes or so. If you are spending the day here fishing picnicking boating or whatever then $9 is not...

Family July 4th 2010 Reunion – Super!!!

Dapapa - Saint George, Utah

This is a great lake and camping experience for the family. What made it fantastic was the camp host John Knoll and his great attitude. (I was here 4 years ago and said I would never come back because of the “Gestapo Government Attitude” of the staff someone got smart and hired friendly nice people) We had a huge family with lots of young grand-kids...

Sailor's Delight

Kajungo - Provo, UT

Although I'm not sure how much a season of docking costs, I'm sure it's well worth it. By sailboat this is a pretty fun lake, and although it's dirty, it's not at all salty like the Great Salt Lake. It's also very large, especially if you travel under 7 knots an hour....

Fees for What

RippedOff - Orem, Utah

I've lived in Provo or Orem for the last ten years and can't say I've ever actually visited this park beyond driving through to have a peek when there was no gate keeper. It's probably because I've got no reason to believe that I can get $9 worth of recreation out of it. That's for suckers...

Wow! Expensive!

SadForProvo - Sandy, UT

Wow! My wife & I drove down there & just wanted to take a look & see if it's a place we would want to camp and they still wanted $9.00 just to look around for a few minutes! Why is it so expensive to have access to land the belongs to all of us? If they can't lower the cost then I'm not going...

PVres - Provo, Utah

While I don't mind a small fee for upkeep $9 is a bit much for those of us wanting to just picnic, fly kites or look out on the water. I agree that there should be a separate fee for boating and land use maybe $3 for picnic use. Our family has opted to use the free city parks this year because of the cost....

Are they crazy?

Provosucks - Provo, Utah

Only boaters should be charged, not everyone. Even going in on a bike costs you cash per person! Outrageous! $9 dollars a car just to go in and look at the water. Who dictates the rules?! Everyone should be allowed to go in there, not just people with money. Screw you, Provo....
