Indian Canyon Scenic Byway

Remnants of a not too distant Utah past US-191 from Helper to Duchesne

Accessed from Helper, this byway follows an old Indian trail used for travel between Price

Stretching northeast from the historic mining town of Helper in the canyon of the Price River, US-191 ascends Willow Creek featuring open vistas and passing through the beginnings of the Roan and Book Cliff formations. Peaking at Indian Creek Pass, 9,100 feet in elevation, the byway passes through the Ashley National Forest

This byway is approximately 43 miles long and steep grades require at least one-hour driving time.
