Western Mining and Railroad Museum

Gift shop, archive room for research of Carbon County; indoor displays and two outdoor locations that contain a 1917 railroad caboose and mining equipment that dates from early to modern times. Additional displays contain artifacts and pictures of early coal and uranium mining, railroad equipment, WPA paintings, a mining company store & railroad office, school room, beauty shop, blacksmith shop, doctor & dentist office, and World War I and II artifacts.
