Red Butte Garden and Arboretum
With 150 plus acres of gardens and natural beauty, Red Butte is the largest botanical site in the Intermountain West. It has its own gift shop, and boasts miles and miles of hiking/nature trails and a first-rate visitor Center--the focal point for diverse recreational, cultural and educational activities, and events. Some year-round activities include: indoor/outdoor concerts, festivals, kids programs, nature outings, tours, book signings and lectures. Museum also features a 1500-acre arboretum with over 9,000 specimens of trees and shrubs from around the world. All the display gardens are complemented by the beauty of the Garden's native areas such as Wildflower Meadow and Oak Tunnel.
