Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum

Systematic research collections in all areas of life science; educational exhibits depicting various habitats and biomes, education programs for the public both in-house and outreach (weekdays, summers and Saturdays); museum works with schools, scouts, and family groups. A "Friends of the Museum" program offers field trips, lectures, receptions, and open houses. Mon-Fri 10-9, Sat 10:00-5:00; closed Sun; free admission.
